The end of time in many ways. People are living longer, but maybe not better.

Hi Deb powerful poem and such wonderful touching moments, even though we pick up they have dementia, the last line is touching because they are now navigating the unknown, but together. So well crafted and penned, well said dear friend - hugs and blessings Jennifer.

Dear Deb, This is so tender and deeply moving. The shift from familiarity to fragility is captured with such grace. The contrast between He, She, and Together paints a quiet heartbreak that so many know too well...Hugs

Oy. This hit me like a pinch to the solar plexus, Deb. 53 YEARS. Oy. You might publish this as a VERY effective advertisement for Alzheimer's research. ~ Gershon

wow! how poignant and well penned. Truly your poem captured the essence of an aging couple (like my own parents) with which dementia or Alzheimer's has taken its toll. Lovely. Yellow Rose

I feel the sadness. Old age is a lonely place.

Dementia is an awful ailment for everyone it touches. How awful it must be to give your all to someone who doesn’t even remember you. So well described, Deb. Terry

Deb I wonder the statistics on thi I simply mean, people see the outside of a retionship. Rarely wii couples air grievances against one another in public,. Nonettheless, love the poem. Best wishes. Your FOF, Pangie xxxx
