Crossing Over

Crossing over is fast to last for all eternity. Let me linger a while longer by the sea of tranquillity, until I collect my bio, written in the water. © Jun 4 2010 For Rick’s Sijo contest

wow that is IMPRESSIVE! I particularly love the last line....cause even if you could momentarily do it...it would disappear as we will in a moment of time. Light & love

This poem stirs my thoughts about enjoying one's life and appreciating the time available for one to reveal to the world who they are through their acts, words, deeds ...their bio. The words "linger longer by the sea of tranquility ...collect my bio, written in the water" are so beautiful. They make me feel as though this person has had peaceful life thus far, and still wishes to accomplish more things before he dies.

Interesting thoughts about the legacy you wish to leave behind, charles. Perhaps we should all stare into "the sea of tranquality" and learn what is really important. Well done! Love, Carolyn
