Cross Roads, Notes and Bridges

"Cross Roads, Notes and Bridges"

Silence 
arrives 
in the spaces

between 

a conversation 
missing in the 
archives of love

music 
drowns 
the unnecessary

what point 
words then,
swords planted

in the spaces
sharp, clean 
and gleaming

the mortared 
existing in the 
spaces in between 

bleed 
unheard words
piercing hearts 

muddy 
unclear 
unseen 

the unsaid
unsung
dissolve

will-o'-the-wisps
wishing wells
full of tears

torn 
walls fall
eventually

like a 
disrobed 
wedding gown 

cross roads
notes and 
bridges

Blessings my friend. Login to Reply Joe Dimino Date: 9/20/2022 8:09:00 AM No, not crazy, in my opinion, far from it. Where we are is at the knot between spiritual realization and physical reality. I, again speaking for myself, on this subject wear crazy as a badge of honor, preferring to focus on the spiritual side of things, for the physical is glued to our consciousness, and needs no additional adhesive -- if that makes sense. There is nothing in the physical world that doesn't have a dog wagging it in the spiritual world. We are both normally pixelated~ if that makes sense:) Lady Labyrinth Date: 9/19/2022 10:59:00 PM People will read into words of others whatever they must or will. The more I did background research while writing this poem, the more I understood, what was unravelling before my eyes. This is how poetry evolves for me, works for me. There's a supernatural flame to most things, in my mind and through my eyes. Call it crazy. Call it what one must or will. Others will read their own thoughts, meanings, relevance (if at all), into this poem. No one thinks alike, everyone has their own personal take on things, including poetry. I agree, each of us is special, unique...every now and then, beneath the shading, within the fortress, a spark, a speck of light leaps out~ that someone somewhere quickly extends a hand to grasp (thoughtlessly, reflexively), drawing it to his or her heart as if a jewel or a divine prophesy. We are seldom aware...and perhaps it is best. This where faith in God must take precedence. Anyway, has worked for me. Who knows? The world is entering a time of change, the magnitude of which, many will not be ready for, this much I feel is a certainty. thank you, we all have some 'purpose' here, don't we?
