Croissant

Since with butter its batter is laced, Adding calories quickly embraced, Why would anyone want To scarf down a croissant? (Which, to me, doesn’t have any taste!)

What, croissants, no taste? Incroyable! Have you ever eaten a real Frency croissant and not those imposters we make in this country? I find the rich butter taste delicious though fattening, so when I'm in Paris I have to restrain myself – one a day, usually with le petit déjeuner. / M

I AGREE with you. I don't get why some people eat the weird things they eat. Even worse for me are bagels. PLAIN and boring. What are they good for unless you smother them in cream cheese or something.

I know this is only a poem. But fresh breads what makes a house a home. And croissants what I want's, there so flaky and good. A new notch in the belt, well that's just understood. :) Peace.

Fun, makes me wish I had one to go with my coffee this morning. You are right they don't have much taste. I like to open them up and add some honey to it, or icing. :)
