crimson coons

coons in their bright crimson satin outfits
dancing down main streets with music outwits
buoyant New Year’s Eve merry
much beer made them unsteady
masks fell off faces eating spiced titbits !

Dear Ghairo, Your limerick had a buoyant, festive energy. It’s lighthearted but also sharp in its timing, the kind of piece that makes you smile at the sheer spectacle of it.Holiday Blessings, Ghairo, Daniel
