Cries From Middle Earth
The sound rang out, like the report from a gun
The dworns had arrived
Stepped down from their charger Dawn Dart
Fear and excitement contrived
Dragons banished afar many years ago
Return to meet these strangers
Delighting in thoughts of a bloody conflict
With these deep earth rangers
Steeped in the ways of the wise elders
They reach for the bow
Warriors now they feel the rising pride
They feel their hunger grow
This day has been awaited for with patience
Now the time has come
Leave the plough and fields alone once again
We are strong and some
The women and children are safe with the priests
In the pavilion of the Sun
We go to battle alongside our liege the king
This day has just begun
To drive these soulless from our land is our aim
This kingdom is ours
Given down by The Sun God many centuries since
The surrendering enemy cowers
