Creatures of Habit

You all know what I mean, the ones so hard to break
The ones that are so often seen, causing one but ache
But still onward we go unable to see our own very past
Some may never know the balance of the lots they cast

It's a pattern that we set and each day we continue to fly
It's that very first time we let and never did say goodbye
And even with the Strength of the Lord we hold course
Falling upon our own sword unable to mount that horse

But the human spirit is great, as God made it that way
Able to change your very fate right here this very day
Though I would certainly suggest you call upon His Name
For you He only wants the best and He doesn't see shame

We're going in for a landing, it could even be a rough one
But have this understanding in the victory you have won
You are a Child of God and therefore you are never done
So when satan tries to trod show him the Power of the Son

Be not afraid, He goes before you, ALWAYS
