Creativity

Now that I have Mono, I am told to rest
So I may write more, but it won't be best
Another month, they think I'll be sick
Hopefully healing will come quick
With words released in resting time
Whether free verse, another or rhyme,
It's not easy lengthy hours being still
But continuing to create, I will

But hooray, now my ability is finally back. I sort of know how you might have felt. Your creativity certainly returned. Your poems are wonderful! I am only on throat numbing syrup script and cough med script. The rest are vitamins etc, I take on my own. Prior to diagnosis i did have 10 days of antibiotic. Thank you very much. It has been a long road since June already. It is hard now to have to sit still and rest so much, so I write. I hope you have a nice evening :)
