Create In Me

Create in me an extraordinary spirit of Pure Hope and Everlasting Love
Stitch me up, for I have been torn apart by a forlorn heart 
Refrain from shedding your sorrows upon me – these clothes don’t seem to fit
Plant in me seeds of gratitude and clothe me with Your Word when you find me nude and of the world, tattered and torn, rolling in the death cart 

Create in me…create in me…
Radiance from the sun
Elevate me…elevate me…
And I’ll remain faithful to You
Trying to outrun my nightmares, but I STUMBLED UPON discouragement
Ease my mind and give me sweet dreams

Isolated from the group…lost in a multitude
Never lose hope, son of mine – someday, you will shine!~

Mesmerizing shores wash away our bittersweet tears and we sponge in juicy jubilance 
Everlasting serenity has brought us to our true Home and He promises us Fortifying Freedom 

We’ll meet each other somewhere behind the mountains
The other side of the city seems to be a place of solitude
We’ll meet eye to eye somewhere beyond the flourishing fountains 
Wrap your hands around mine and I’ll give you a ride that uplifts your gloomy mood

Create in me an enduring, sturdy, and heartfelt soul 
Fetch me up some delicious delight, for I’ve been weighed down by ruthless gravity 
Promise me a zealous destiny…not a fearful fate – make me feel whole
Make me feel satisfied as an earthworm, munching away at an apple with glee until it reaches its core
There’s more land to explore! So forlorn no more!

Radiance from the sun
Direct me…accept my repentance of sincerity…
And I’ll remain faithful to You and it will always be
Trying to erase my guilty state of mind, but I STUMBLED UPON more remorse…
Ease my mind and give me sweet dreams or things WILL get more out of course!

Isolated from the group…lost in a multitude…
Never lose confidence, son of mine – someday, you will shine! 

Mesmerizing shores wash away our bittersweet tears and we sponge in juicy jubilance 
Everlasting serenity has brought us to our true Home and He thinks of us as lights of the world

I believe we are if we make the best of our time and be good examples! 
Create in me a faithful heart - flourishing with high hopes that we'll soon be God's glorious disciples !

It spells out the title (the chorus)...look at it again and you'll spot it soon enough! Have a great week ahead of you and pen on, friend and poet. It was a pretty difficult one (got out of my comfort zone on this one LOLz).
