Coward

Will sugar even be sweet, or flying even be great
As this heart, be consumed by hate but can’t even vent
Imprisoned in a flesh, a pathetic flesh
Gifted with a melodious voice but can’t even manifest
Oh! Such cowardice

Coward I say! For allowing thyself to be caged
Because of fear of showing thy rage
That people would utter such remark against thee
Well I say, let them be!
For such brilliant thoughts must be heard form thee

I told the mirror as I compose myself
Ready to face another day.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
