Cow Pie

There's a cow pie in the yard.
So what do you think?
Is it bull?

(Cow pie is American slang for cow dung & "bull" is the
abbreviated form of a vulgar word meaning something foolish
or useless. Anyway, it's a play on words that I hope translates
ok for the non native English speakers here)

Andrea - we are like brother and sister in this. I have several poems all about the gas that could be generated from cows. Perhaps I can post a few for you. Mike

LOL, no, I didn't know the meaning of cow pie! Over here, there's a popular comic book cowboy character called Desperate Dan and he eats cow pie (but it's a huge pastry dish, complete with horns!) I understood bull - we say bullshit. So I grew up on a cowboy eating dung...

inspirations can come from anywhere and this is proof and that's no bull. Great poem for the 753 contest. I think it is already turning out to be very interesting and as with your post entertaining as well! looks like a winner to me ( but of course I was raised on a farm) : )
