Covid-19
It came upon a Chinese town
Where people starting falling down.
With symptoms that looked like the flu;
They did not know quite what to do.
And then it hit, the lasting cost;
That people’s lives had now been lost.
What happens next, if it should spread;
All answers that the world did dread.
And so it went,
Passed on and on;
Through place to place
And more lives gone.
Pandemic’s hit!
More’s on the way!
With places closed
And at home we must stay.
Supplies reduce with panic buys;
The virus spreading in disguise.
When will it stop?
How far will it go?
The outcome for us, we don’t know.
The worst generational outbreak;
Let’s pull together for everyone’s sake.
Hands should be cleaned;
And sneezes caught quick;
And self isolation if you become sick.
A cough that continues;
Or if fever is found;
Please don’t forget to head homeward bound.
Look after each other and
Those that live near
There may be some neighbours who’re living in fear
We all have a place and a part we must play;
In bringing and end to this crisis today!
