Out on the veranda
There is solid dark gray
The hidden sun is rising 
And hot will be this day

Thank you, Lord, for a few minutes
A moment to be alone with you
Your Presence surrounds
Covering like the precious dew

Such solitary moments, early in the dawn is the ideal time to connect with God. His presence is like soothing dew. Besides, silence of the morning is divine. Beautiful poem, dear Sara.
