Cover Me
Your touch, your aroma, the softness of your skin
I hear your thick accent; my imagination starts to spin
Your dialect, your native tongue sends my mind running wild
Your arms I long to feel them, Carry me like your child
Perfection, Your complexion, has been kissed by the sun
Your eyes, look upon me and I succumb to your passion
Your physique, your stature, the way that you walk
The strength and confidence in way that you talk
So beautiful your language, Teach it to me
Swaddle me in your customs; wrap me in your beliefs
Motivate me mentally, like no one else can do
Weave me within your honesty, enlaced me in your truths
Clothe me spiritually; drape me in your faith
Swaddle me in your devotion
Cover me with your grace
Carry me with you in the depths of your soul.
Engrave your conviction into my sacred scrolls
Filtered me into the form of your foundation
Embed me in your silent prayers,
Your secret supplication
