Courtship

Cupid sharpens his weapon
    Firms up his grip
  An arrow pierces two hearts
    ~ Man embarks on courtship

  As for success
    Cupid cares not
  His, to light the fire
Theirs to tend 'til it's out

He fires up the arrow then walks away. Like Sara says, Cupid takes no responsibility…lol

'An arrow pierces two hearts' - funny I never thought of it like that - cupid's a double dealer :)

If Cupid had longer arrows, he'd pierce 3 hearts! ~ Just sayin'

Ahh!! So Cupid isn't going to take the blame for thing going wrong. Good to be far away from that scene anyway. Thanks for sharing and for dropping by my page. Sara

Yeah, that 'scene' seems so silly now, doesn't it? ( But it's real to the participants!) ... And I sure enjoy your page, Sara!
