COURTING THE MOON Once Upon a time, The blazing sun Courted The full-faced Moon, Caressing her pale Face With his ravenous Beams, Next he flashed, Hastily she blushed, But then she Gave in Embraced thus Remained All night long and SOON The sky was filled With Billions flickering Children That All mother had The shy, pale MOON! © Demetrios Trifiatis 28 February 2013

WOW! I love this. I once wrote a poem about the moon and the sun. There is a Spanish song that says. With music the moon stays awake and The sun is late coming out. Thanks for sharing. Lucilla

This is a fabulous write, one that I believe to be one of your best ones my friend! I think it's just the subject that gets my attention the most, I love the moon, and the stars aren't far behind in all their glory! I love the concept of the stars as children of the sun and the moon, very ingenious Demetrios! What a fantastic poem, Great Work!!
