Courage as a Lion with no teeth In a jaded jungle of onyx streets Walking a road with no feet As brave as a babe in chemotherapy Enraged yet saved by God’s grace, peace Learning to embrace the purple powers that be Finding fuchsia faith despite dilemmas destiny Tapping in to green grin inspiring salty sea As a runaway slave of yesterday courageous free Despite dictator only the Savior my soul needs For one is only as free as He designs one to be Together in humanity yet alone in your individuality Brave as an astronaut walking into history As a featherless chick falling from nested tree If I was this lost baby bird courage would rescue me Look inside find your strength courageously
