Be nice to your lady, you never know when she may come in handy.

A man drove his car through the mountains, Past trees, rocks and natural fountains, When to his dismay, Saw a man in a fray, With a bear and was getting a poundin'. A woman stood high on a couple, Of rocks surveying the tussle. He cried, Shoot the beast! She said, Hold your peace. The bear may save me the trouble.

Oh, this is just great, Judy. Is there a contest this can be entered in? A sure winner. That last line just killed me ~ The Beast

Love the bear facts! This morning's news reports Shanon Stevens sat down at an outhouse near Haines, Alaska, on 13.II.21 and her buttocks were attacked by a bear below. She was rescued by her brother, who would be singing in the choir if he had sat down. Aloha! Rico

:) He must have been pretty awful for her to let the bear continue his attack, Judy. Great punch line at the end -- unexpected and funny! If for the contest, you should have a great win. Hugs, Carolyn

Lol! Judy, Your limericks are hilarious. The second caused me to laugh out loud. In the past, I could have used the bear's number and called him on speed dial lol! I enjoyed the read. Have a great day:-) Alexis

Judy, I got a really good chuckle out of this. The second stanza is particularly good. The woman has exceptionally good sense. Why should she go to jail for what the bear can do for her? And, apparently, he deserves it! Good stuff!
