Counterpart
Counterpart
Where are the words
They are lost in a dream of a smile
What would they say
If they could look into your eyes
Where would these intimated embraces lead
Should they consummate
And be held in an unknown voice
to be pressed to soft skin
and hear those words whispering
Will longing then become fearless
And so enclosed in my arms
Knowing without words how in my own hearts mission
I found freedom
And still through mystery
Gained the gift of liberation
For the dark may bequeath myriad stars
Each one a single wish
To ponder on all the possibilities
Latent in the passing second
When lovers eyes first meet
Where are the words
Spoken in forms of compliance and femininity
Clothed by see-through into a soul
Would need describe the verbs of sexuality
What would they say
Of harmony
To answer desire so blatantly
And so trembling sighs so softly
I am yours
Time; measured by this waiting search
Has more fortitude than time alone deserves
To counterpart these fantasies
We are made by these realities
To turn in tenderness and face
Each others reflection
And find there in
Union
Where are the words
Written in your heart
What would they say
More than this so adequately
and whisper to you and whisper to me
on the breathings of possibility
