Could I write in poetry
You would be the theme
All that you mean to me
The answer to my dream
Could I write a love song
To tell you how I feel
Put myself where I belong
To sing these feelings real
Could I wake each dawning
To eyes that held and shared
That promise of the morning
After two hearts openly cared
Could I ever live without you
The obvious answers no
For you are my wish come true
And travel where ever I go
Could I write in poetry
Could I write a love song
All words would be sincerity
And place them where they belong
