Cosmos Leisure

Written: November 15, 2023 __________________________________________ Some seek leisure in the pristine wilderness The solitary coast is the site of separateness Each one is barred from harboring bitterness The ocean thundering, roaring in its utterness Nature fascinates me beyond my smallness Never before impeded in the path of emptiness From lackluster scarcity and austere emptiness An itch for oneness in the cosmos of loneliness We wait idly for the angel's plea for tenderness.

A thoughtful commentary, my friend. Much relief and inspiration you convey--exiting emptiness.

This is so profound and I absolutely love your rhymes here creating such a captivating cadence: I agree with so many lines written in such a philosophical and deep manner , and how soul hitting is the line “ The ocean thundering, roaring in its utterness“ very descriptive line that is and very creative. “ An itch for oneness in the cosmos of loneliness“ one can only hope for that. And wish. “ Nature fascinates me beyond my smallness“ same here nature has a way of healing us when all is but dark

Your Monorhyme was well written and conveys that struggles through loneliness and the feelings of being empty, Sotto. Good poetry, sad circumstances. A poet friend in Texas, Bill
