Cosmic Reign
Cosmic Reign
Free verse
Two
shooting stars crossing
over each other
As living sparks so
powerfully combustible
that it leaves miles of
glowing trails behind
them...
Colliding with a force
that is cosmic
Their particles of
fire merge
By falling to the
earth to reign
Landing in streams
below of latter days
Flowing with individual
identities
Magnetically drawn
to one another
By unseen forces
that bring
Their destiny's
into a single
Fulfillment of
cradled peace
Though youth into
their wisdom day’s
Two separate streams
that easily flow as one
Moving
like a
well-oiled
wheel
Cradled
In the
Power
of love
