Cosmic Chess

The world ended In a flash. Frayed nerves, Hate, distrust and touchy fingers Ended it. Missiles were fired, Which ended All talks and Humanity. It was all over, One flash Nothing left But, A burned-out planet. High Above In the heavens, God sat, Head bent In defeat. Staring down At the blackened cinders Of his creation. Across the heavens Satan sat smiling. "Well," the devil said, "I won that one easily. Shall, we play again?" God looked At his opponent. "Yes," he said. "But, this time I want The evil forces."
