Coronvavirus

The virus started in a wet market in China, where wildlife, dead and alive, is on sale, in December, 2019, and believed to have come from a person eating a bat, and has spread worldwide as an epidemic killing millions.

                                           Desire to eat wildlife meat
                                           Has created a killing virus
                                           Spreading world-wide without restraint
                                           Killing millions in its wake.

                                           Countries in lock-down
                                           People terrified
                                           Many wearing face masks
Told the only protection is washing hands.

Health workers trying to save lives
                                           Doctors and nurses dying
Supermarkets trying to keep shelves stocked
                                           Elderly at supreme risk.

                                                              Colin Ian Jeffery

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
