Cornered

Cornered in all directions, By lies, pressure and failed objections. My world crumbles before my eyes, My once victorious spirit dies. Cornered with no way out, I desperately seek the escape route. cornered by pain and affliction, A defeated, battered man shows my reflection. Cornered by life on a steep cliff, Shedding tears accompanied by a slight sniff. That's all that's left of a man once thought courageous, But remember, when cornered an animal is most dangerous.
