They're good for the plants, and for the animals...I just like to hold them - not an easy task without squishing them. teehee. Always a pleasure to have you visit! :)

Fun Haiku. I don’t know much about the agricultural life or fishing.. In the summertime we used to go to Wisconsin and my friends enjoyed fishing, but not me …because I didn’t like putting a worm on a hook. I didn’t like cutting up and dead, frogs in nursing school either. Chicken Pangie

We all had fun under the moon, no.matter what. I went into the boats with my friends, none the less. We had great times. I was just a city gal Cities in the 1940s were lovely safe places. In the suburbs it was great. My summers were not in the city.my family, a large one, all had sunnerhomes. Scads of fun Pangie

Great haiku. Perhaps the redworm spotted a fisherman with a tin?

Hey Tom. I was just fishing a couple of weekends ago (when it was a bit cooler here). I had a few wrigglers with me! That and stink bait. :) Thanks for commenting! :)

They say that there will be a rare super blue moon at the end of August around August 30th. Maybe we can see it. Smart red wigglers going deep thinking it might be an early winter or will it be? Thanks for sharing this creative one and for dropping by my page. Sara

I do hope so Sara. August has two full moons this year!! Amazing, is it not? Yes, the wigglers are helpful to the farmers by keeping the soil aerated and fertile for the crops. Always good to read you and to be read by you! hugs Linda :)
