Coretta Scott King

Was a civil rights leader, born Coretta Scott,
On June 18 1953 her and MLK tied the knot.
She shared the same dream as King,
Many people knew that she could sing.

You certainly pay tribute to a most worthy American, Alexis. I didn't know she sang, but her efforts to keep her husband's "dream" alive are well known. Best wishes in Andrea's contest! Hugs, Carolyn
