Notes About The Poem

Cops

Cops

Us..,
and
them.

They use violence.
Hurt people,
and care not for others.
They have their own rules,
“Chaos” is their master.

No dignity, nor worth…
No value of the soul.
Only their own…
Needs…
Wants…
Morals…
Values…
Religions…
Agendas…

The brave that wear... the "blue",
You call, we call!
They come.
Not slow, but fast, and just in time.
Great risk, sad rewards…
Grateful citizens.
Thank you!

Yes thank you to the police officers who risk their lives each day. Sure there are some bad ones, but thank you for your tribute to them. They need emotional support and mental support, too as they have a high suicide rate it said on TV.

it's so sad that there are so many bad people they must combat. And sometimes the cops go wrong, and the bad apples spoil it for the others. Great tribute, Ann

Hello Ann … what police officers must put up is insane, especially when the courts let them down like they do here. Without them it would be chaos - thank you Ann - Lindsay

One step away from insane. We are close. It is so sad. They ar not all great, but they ALL deserve to be honored. So very sad how they are treated. We need to make a change. Hugs. Ann

God Bless all that wear a uniform and put their life down for others... Respect is the least we can offer. Hugs. Ann
