Coplestone Oak

Its twisted, hollowed out trunk Appears dead, but it has leaves; An abundance of green leaves Proves it is alive. * an ancient tree near my home Jack Horne for Russell’s Trees Everywhere contest

Great one and very creative work..Reads like a winner to me.. Those ancient ones are so beautiful..Do the geese have a airway in which they travel over England going to a summer home like in America?...Thanks for the kind review of my work..Sara

It's sure a mystery why sometimes though a plant will seem dead there is life in it yet if you give it a chance. I think the more gnarled it is, often the more beautiful a tree can be. It gives it personality. Great job here my friend. God Bless, JB
