Coolness of Your Smile
I looked at the curve
The coloration
The cool fullness of your smile
Imprinted upon the walls of my mind, and
I find you standing still
Like that misty morning, when
I in silence walked, thinking of home.
You spoke, as in a song, soothing
Warm, sun kissed -
I've never known such bliss
Soft as fresh breath
Pure, as prelude to spring.
I look at you, and gratitude touches me.
