Cool Fever

COOL FEVER

                                    a Winter compress,
                            the giant ice cube —
                         a rubicon of
white gold pampering -
     the Spring gate is closed.

thermometer -
   brash, cache of chill.
          illness moves fast
                   o’er snowy hill.

                cool fever,
            this tizzy-
   snowmobile

racing
  torrent,

I see we chose the same title, this is a compelling ode to the love of winter!
