Cool Cat

Walking down the alley Watching all the cats Watching every step I take I wondered, what’s with that? Have they nothing better To do with all their time Then watching me watching them But paying them no mind? One came walking towards me Asks me if I’m cool I said I’d like to think so Is than an alley rule? His strut gave me the answer He didn’t have to say Clearly he’s the coolest Not just an alley stray He wandered off real slowly The stories he could tell! He turned and smiled back at me He wore his coolness well
