Conversations With a Mirror

I see you,
and we both look the same way,
our eyes move together,
I know what I'm thinking,
I speak
but only hear myself
but i cannot read your lips
for further proof.

It's strange
how you are there
every time I am,
but I wonder
what's your world like
on the other side....?
Surely it is fate that we meet
every time
always haunted by an appearance
I'm not too sure is mine,
what do you see on the other side?
Do you see me?
Or am I just seeing you?

How can I ever be soo sure
That it is truly I that I see?
I feel my face when I'm not looking at you.

They say I'm beautiful.

I like you there on the other side
you intrigue me.
Maybe I and them
don't see eye to eye
when I tell you
what I think of you.
Shallow,
but perhaps, they,
do not see
what I see.
