Conversation With Cancer

Conversation with Cancer

What are you cancer? Help me to understand please,
An invasion of your body, a complicated disease!

Where did you come from? I really must know,
Born of a malfunctioning cell with unexplained growth!

When did you get here? Just had my mammogram,
Laid dormant undetected; my size is a Nano gram!

How did this happen? I have not been sick,
Heredity, DNA, Life-style, can cause an untimely split!

Why Me, Why now? I’m not ready for this,
Fear not, have faith, because winners never quits!!

Sarita, this is a deep write. Gave me the chills. WOW, I got goosebumps thinking about the conversation. Today, Sarita you became my favorite poet. Strong, when sharing your words. A wonderful and powerful ending. Love SKAT

SKAT, thank you so much!! You don't know how much this means to me, because I truly admire your work too! This is my first attempt at putting my feelings about my experience in writing. Hopefully it will be viewed as an informational message of encouragement for others...

Hello Andrea, in my opinion early detection, a good team of Doctors and a positive attitude is the key. Yes it is scary, but you have to have faith. So far so good for me!! Thanks for the support.
