Conversation

Conversation
Like bricks
the piano keys fell
and echoed into the background
one by one

They were alone
and finally the events
could unravel.
The seance she said
was actually inviting
she held his hand
tighter

is there going to be a gathering of souls,
is what I'm thinking
are they going to need a leader?
She was not from here
this sort of thing never happened
it rained outside
and this made her happy
she spoke
of dancing in fields of daisies

The song finished
the piano was excellent
everyone applauded
and this ended the first
conversation.
