Contrasts Of A Day
My child, a whole day can be quite obstruse
as the trail of moonglow begins to set
lonesome hours could bring you to a realm, with dreamy tales one can never forget.
Though night-moon glimmers in the woods,
every leaf tumbles softly with the winds' howl
where petitions drift along pensive swings of lunar grace, of solace deafening:
Still , be joyful when dawnfall breaks;
sunlight bathes the warm breeze a dazzle, a razzle , a quiver on verdant grass
beguiling every woman and child sweet promise of morn ... and when toil ends , hold that joy in your palm--
for skies bestow peace from grateful hearts.
These keepers-- sun- moon-- become life's harbingers of joy and angst,
until the ticking hours greet near dusk again with an intent wish,
My dear one, it's a prayer of contentment... all these variations rolling , flowing in
just one day.
