I leisurely strolled down our main road, As the severely hot sun descended Behind the purple hills and our night Began to cover all our crowded streets. Colorful lights flickered every where, An enticement to lure us to our shops. Restaurants emitted all types of food, Chinese, Indian, Italian and others. But I had another type of sensational hunger, For at the end of the main noisy street Darkness reigned all around the fields. And under the old oak tree was our bench. There she sat waiting patiently and expectantly. I smiled at her and sat down besides her, Giving a warm cuddle as was our habit, Followed by the most tender of kiss. From afar the night was decorated with million stars, Twinkling beautifully, a sight to admire. A shooting star traversed the luminous sky. It was a sight for us to admire the beauty That made our hearts beat faster in ethereal bliss.
