Contrary Similarities

Incognito, I stand exposed.
Difficult days, of smooth sailing.
Completely baffled, I do know.
Happy endings, such tragedy.
Right or wrong, see no difference.
Great injustice, a fair outcome.
Crimes committed, yet acquitted.
Opposing theories, we think alike.
Time to go, let's stay awhile.
Sunny days, in dark of night.
Come to terms, in disagreement.
Willful blindness, I see it.
Peace on earth, by warring factions.
Democrats, ----- Republicans.

Your use of paradoxical phrases such as “difficult days, of smooth sailing” was particularly effective in conveying the complexity of human experience. It highlights the ways in which we are often blind to our own biases. (It is like everyone was slipped crazy pills and conked on the head and a potato sack slipped over. Watch the screen, look to the left, the right.
