Enjoyed the read of this Haiku, Barbara! What a picture, an abandoned garden and above a blue sky with the white contrails of planes....Nice one...Gert

this is gonna sound stupid, but I don't know what contrails means! anyway, it sounds splendid!! Is it just like lines across the sky? If so, what a wonderful picture this makes.

I like the thought of the "buds bursting in air," like the contrails of the rockets in our national anthem. Still, there is sadness that this orchard has been abandoned and there is no one around to appreciate the beauty. Excellent haiku, dear LNC. Love, Carolyn

This haiku appears to be describing an orchard of peach trees. It is written well.
