Context and Intention

Context and intention
made to add dimension
To give arguments balance and a view

For its where we are coming from
that determine where we go
and determine how we treat people too

No one hears an argument
that's meant to hurt
and few validate intentions that are mean

Life is not meant
to be energy pettily spent
and discussion that contains not a hill of beans

If you engage
and run into your rage
that haze will forever control how you talk

but if you engage
and reach out to grasp
you pull the other in with real thought

For no one person is wholly right
nor the other wholly wrong
but you surely gain more opponents with smoke and steam

And you attract more flies
when you speak without lies
and from the heart with an open mind

For communication isnt
unless its heard, acknowledged and returned
and nothing gained by immature acting out

A discussion after all
Is rational dialog by all
And a monolog is just a vent

Thanks Kenisha, I like to fold some of my personal philosophy into poetry to unleash on the world. It can make people think, especially when they are just busy preaching and not really interacting.
