Contentment

She sits alone stretched out on a limb
Her feline grace catches sun warming rays
Content in magnificent thought she stays
While the gentle breeze sways
No reason to wander, more thoughts she will ponder
Quite secure in her domain

I imagined a panther or a leopard. Wild cats are awesome and this poem invoked beautiful pictures. Well described! I like climbing trees myself and pondering. It's hard not to have any cares though. Always, Laura

Karen, Nice write. Makes me want to climb up a big old oak tree and lie in the limbs swaying in the wind. Defying gravity and everything else the modern world wants to send my way. Find oneness! Kilmer

Karen a fabulous image and provokes a question is it a kitty, or wild jungle cat. Nicely done. I hope you have a great 4th. Warm Smiles, Connie
