Contemplation
Trying to convince
humans to get out,
as their iphones sing out
the top hit labeled
mandatory evacuation,
astonishes the birds,
as they revel in the bath of stone tub,
filled by the flood,
and then fly away.
And the ones who won't leave, keep the thoughts of glue,
cemented to their brains,as they
sit and contemplate
the acquisition of
their furniture.
