Contaminated Love
You made me live a life of hate and passion
You’ve given me poison and I die from love.
I no longer hear the birds songs nor see the
sun’s rays Because you are
no longer by my side
You provided me with a world I had never seen.
I know now that world was dead and full
of lies, misery and pain.
Now I cannot feel the caresses of anyone else.
I accepted your lies because I loved you.
I accepted the hemlock you provided every
night and
I became contaminated.
I’m poison to myself and others.
Oh Heavens above, forgive me, I still
Want to taste that poison, even if it
kills me.
