Consuming Reason
I'm stuck between you and a wall
that blocks out all the whole world knows
We consume each others words with
reason to survive on each others mind
I blame myself for forever being
stuck on that night
While dark skies were humble
spitting out remains of what was right
Filled with reason of nothing more, than each other.
Words don't mean much
when you know for certain
there is nothing more to us than each other.
Consuming reason, oh treason.
That's when we lose each other.
So let our beats do the talking,
and our songs do the talking,
as we look out for one another.
