Consumed
As I Lust onto a forbidden one
I fall. But by a heart already owned,
My hope is abandoned; I am undone;
A desire provoked by all the unknown.
A heart of rebel depth to tame,
but my wild words reflect not my soul
in pain, I crave to taste each part of his name
over and over till I lose control.
What disparity my swindled heart weeps
of what may have been, how it should have gone;
My heart and soul lie broken by defeat.
Agony, such agony is set upon
Scorched by a fire that I could not touch.
Consumed by a flame that was just too much.
