Constantly Been Criticized
Have you ever constantly been criticized?
And before you knew it then realized
If people with me truly sympathized,
Poems would not appear to be disguised.
I am sure everyone has a certain talent
And all of our efforts are very valiant;
Not only that, you can be self-reliant
When with God's commands are compliant.
Was complimented saying I am gifted
Now both my soul and spirit are uplifted
Found out after poems through I had sifted
Ones lacking love will make people livid.
Our house was decorated with much care
There are Christmas things everywhere
Left items in box which we wanted to spare
Compared to rest found them to be fair.
Current house we live in now do favor
Which is similar to our next door neighbor
Who with on occasion we may rattle a sabre
But usually are always on our best behavior.
Special is God's each silent and quiet night
And in foreign lands there are those that fight
While we are here with Him and all His might
In America that sure is such a glorious sight.
