Conscious Beings



                     She sensed the grass has instinctively grown

                     Taller than the aged stone motionless and alone

                     Deep green like the emerald set on her golden ring

                     Like cognizant beings nourished by a life-giving spring.

Thus growth and stagnation are powerfully contrasted.
