wow wow wow. a stunning tribute, Mark. I am going ahead and seeing some of these ahead of time since it does not matter. they all will be equally placed, a gift for Connie's family. I love how you paid tribute to our dear friend. (thanks also for my recent win in your contest) I was on pins and needles about that, as always.

Thanks, MArk. Connie had a poetry club for over 20 years too, and she was so supportive of all her members. She did more for the poetry community than anybody I've ever known!

Andrea, this is nice what you are doing. I know Connie’s family appreciates the many poetic tributes to her. I was reading random, older poems from other poets on the PS site this week and was delighted to see comments that Connie had made. Her comments are so kind and encouraging.

Though we have read and responded to each other's poetry a few times, our poetic souls truly bonded and reached for the beauty of human inside.. I felt her kindness, generosity, humility and her passion for poetry.. A loving and loveable human being whose chambers of the heart wide enough to embrace humanity.. May her beautiful soul rest in the peace of heaven.. Mark, you have rendered your admiration and respect to Connie by such an honouring and wonderful Haibun! So pleased to read your heartfelt tribute.. God bless your beautiful soul. My deepest regards and blessings.
