Notes About The Poem

Connery As James Bond

Sir Sean Connery's James Bond had
unmistakable swagger, and how.
Mr. Connery was the original Bond; the best there ever was.
Sorry Roger...and Pierce! Hello there, Daniel...

I see you, George and Timothy! Thank you all...
for playing, but Mr. Connery was top dog; he had no rival!
Charm and charisma flowed through his veins...
when he first introduced himself in "Dr. No."

"Bond...James Bond," he uttered...
with quintessential coolness. A legend was born!
Women sure had a thing for him, even...
the "Bond girls" plotting with the villain to do him in.

Men dug his style and wanted to dress like him...
and imitate his panther-like gait. In case you've forgotten,
I'm still talking about Connery! Oh, he was swaggerific!
 Is that a word?
