Connections
I found a fleeting feeling of joy
In certain material things,
But when i found myself alone-
One day- I felt the nothingness
They bring...
My life's a search for connections
To make with the planet
And all of it's living beings.
There is, you know,
A constant flow
Of energies- into and out of
My soul.
I walk alone, these days-
A smile upon my face-
Always aware that Mother Earth is fair,
As long as we respect her grace.
My mortal form was not yet born,
In the times before,
Humanity tore her to shreds.
Though i was not here in person,
I remember the evil, our path to destruction...
It still gives me chills- the memory of
The notion-
That we can destroy, and harm
To the point,
That we really believe our home is
Without emotion...
Or Earth is our mother, that loves like no other.
We must treat her like something,
So worthy of loving,
Worthy of becoming,
Once again the Eden
Hidden beneath layers of trash and clutter.
We feed much life into our maker,
As to us she does passionately cater;
A beautiful exchange of the waves
From our brains,
That keep us as One with nature.
Continue as One, with all life under the sun,
So you can see how our energies intertwine,
And learn in time that all life is devine.
